Education

I studied German language at Ryle High School. I studied abroad in Germany with the Rotary Club for my junior year of high school. I am a sophomore German major at Berea College. I scored a 5 on my German AP exam and I earned a 4.0 GPA my senior year of high school and have a 3.4 GPA currently at Berea College.

Experience

I have studied German language for going on 6 years. I studied abroad my junior year of high school in Germany with the Rotary Club. I tutored German students in high school and have accepted a position as a German language/history TA at Berea College. I received a 5 on the AP German language test my senior year. I am an assistant organizer of a month long youth exchange program to Germany through my high school.

Hobbies

Folk and traditional dance and music, marching bands, soccer, travel, video games and being outside. I am a Berea College Country Dancer as well as a member of a Morris Dance team based in Berea. I love dancing and have been playing music for 8 years. I play clarinet, bass clarinet, some accordion and melodeon as well as tin whistle. I was in the Ryle High School marching band for 4 years. Last summer during the world cup, I was abroad in Germany enjoying the public viewings and parties surrounding the soccer culture there. I have been abroad multiple times and visited 7 other countries outside of the US. I am planning on traveling more after I finish school and have the time. When traveling I enjoy outdoor activities like camping or hiking. In my free time I like to relax and play video games or watch movies.
